Last month's cooking class at Builders Source was super successful! We all had lots of fun and a good time was had by all.

Grilled Veggies-June2009Mother’s Day is always such a special holiday—I have very fond memories of my daughter, Amy, making fancy brunches at home, while making sure I couldn’t see what she was cooking. She would close the door to the kitchen to keep me out and peek around the door just to make sure I wasn’t coming. It was always so much fun.

I think Mother’s Day at home with a simple to make, yet sumptuous and easy grilled dinner is a great idea. With that in mind, I am sharing some of my favorite grilling recipes. With grilling, there are lots less pots to wash and it keeps cooking quick and fun as everyone can gather around while the barby is cooking away.

We just released my favorite collection of meat, poultry and fish grilling recipes, called Jane Butel’s Best of Southwestern Grilling. (The recipes are my favorites from my "Jane Butel's Southwestern Grill"  cookbook.)  Here’s a quick link to it. We have been really busy giving private cooking classes and team building classes.
