One of the easiest gifts to give that keeps on giving is  a cookbook--especially for gifting to people who love to cook.   Books are so easy to wrap and to send anywhere.  And, if you like, you can pair the book with the popular ingredients.

We have pre-selected gift boxes that we can send anywhere you wish.  Some of our most popular boxes are the Chili Madness,  Grilling and Quick and Easy.  Each has the book which I will autograph as you wish along with a selected collection of our pure Pecos Valley Spice Co. Southwestern cooking ingredients.

I am discounting my books and Gift Boxes $4.00 each for this week and will autograph as you wish.

A cookbook can be like a diary when you record the date and time you've tried a recipe and to whom you were with when sharing your culinary treasure.   I have great fun looking back at favorite recipes and seeing when I made various adaptations and also where I was  and who I was with at the time.   Despite all of the electronic methods for getting recipes--there is a lot to be said to have a collection of tried and true cookbooks.

All of the recipes in my cookbooks have been tested--many tested many times, just to be sure that the recipe is clear and guides  you through the entire cooking and serving.  In the many years of teaching, I have discovered how differently directions can be interpreted.  That has helped guide me through my cookbook writing.  Also, I developed the Southwestern menus items for various chains of restaurants as well as free standing ones.

Autographed cookbooks have great value and are such fun to collect.  I am always happy to personally autograph any cookbooks you purchase.  In September,  I just completed a nine book contract with Turner Publishing to re-publish 8 of my best selling books along with the publication of one new cookbook, "Simply Southwestern".   For each re-published cookbook, I reviewed each recipe and all of the writing to make any changes I deemed necessary to make the  recipe clearer and or more up to date.

Also,  I still have a few spaces left in my weekend cooking class which I have a very deep discount of all three classes of the weekend for just $300.
