Peering out the window--watching fluffy, huge, puffy snowflakes--it is hard to think that it was 81 F here Sunday, April 1. However, we are thrilled with the snow. The moisture will be so reassuring for all of our plants trying their level best to grow in our high New Mexico desert.

Just a word about Cinco de Mayo, which I think a lot of us don’t realize the significance. This celebration is all about the Mexican army defeating Napoleon’s army over 100 years ago. The amazing feat is even greater when you realize that the Mexican army had not been allowed to be organized during the French rule of Mexico.
Our fresh, pure, all natural chiles, herbs and food products are just perfect for creating the recipes I am featuring this month. Place your order so you can enjoy those fresh spicy flavors for your spring cooking.
Happy Easter and Spring!
